Josie Sandler

Josie Sandler, Managing Director of Sandler Search Associates, has over a decade of executive search experience. She specializes in partnering with Boards, Search Committees, and senior leaders to recruit experienced executives for leading nonprofit organizations, educational institutions and foundations located across the United States. With her experience, expertise, and extensive networks, Josie helps the social sector find new leaders.

Prior to launching her own firm, Josie was a Client Partner at Korn/Ferry International and previously worked with Heidrick & Struggles. Altogether, she has completed more than 100 assignments for senior executives across the nonprofit sector and for other mission-related organizations.

Before entering the search profession, Josie served as Associate Vice President, Corporate Affairs at Prudential Securities and as Manager of Corporate Fund Raising for New York Cares. She began her career at R.H. Macy’s in their retail executive management program.

Josie, a native New Yorker, earned her master’s degree in public administration from NYU Wagner School of Public Service and a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College. She serves on the Dartmouth Alumni Council and is an active member of the board of Maccabi USA/Sports for Israel .
